ALSTASAN SILVOX (Silver Hydrogen Peroxide based Biodegradable Agriculture Disinfectant) addresses the following areas of concern without causing harmful/toxic effects.

 

Method of application:

Regular treatment by Drip method:

The disinfectant is added to irrigation water and fed to the soil bed through drip line. It is advised to repeat this process once in every 15 days.

  • Fusarium solani reduces plant growth, with yellow necrotic basal leaves; brown-red or black root streaks that merge as they mature and spread above the soil line
  • Rhizoctonia solani causes sunken red-brown lesions on germinating stem; new shoots emerging from infected nodes eventually die
  • Pseudomonas syringae causes small water soaked leaf spots that merge and turn necrotic; thin lesions with translucent centers; lesions encircle the stem; pods covered with slime
  • Root knot nematodes (Meloidogyne sp.) leading to gall formation on the roots, reducing plant life; yellowing of plants which wilt in hot weather
  • Botrytis cinerea causes irregular stem lesions; cottony fungal growth on the leaf undersides; pods are wilted and sunken with gray mycelial growth

Regular treatment by Spray method:

A solution of the disinfectant is made and sprayed on the plants once in every 7-15 days helps in treating:

  • Downy mildew, by Peronospora viciae, identified by yellow-brown patches on the upper leaf surfaces, and thin cottony mycelial growth on the underside; reduced plant growth

Regular treatment by Drench method:

A fair dilution of the disinfectant is made and the solution is drenched to each plant every 15-30 days. Helps in treating the following diseases:
