ALSTASAN SILVOX (Silver Hydrogen Peroxide based Biodegradable Agriculture Disinfectant) addresses the following areas of concern without causing harmful/toxic effects.

Method of application:

Regular treatment by Drench method:

A fair dilution of the disinfectant is made and the solution is drenched to each plant every 15-30 days. Helps in treating the following diseases:

  • Downy mildew, by Hyaloperonospora parasitica show small lesions on upper leaf surfaces which merge into orange or yellow necrotic patches, with white cottony growth on the undersides
  • Rhizoctonia solani causes death of seedlings after germination; brown red-black rot encircles the stem making it constricted and twisted (wirestem)
  • Root knot nematode (Meloiodgyne sp.) causes root galls which may extend upto an inch in diameter, reducing plant life and yellowing of leaves which wilt in the summers

Regular treatment by Drip method:

The disinfectant is added to irrigation water and fed to the soil bed through drip line. It is advised to repeat this process once in every 15 days.

  • Root knot nematode (Meloiodgyne sp.) causes root galls which may extend upto an inch in diameter, reducing plant life and yellowing of leaves which wilt in the summers

Regular treatment by Spray method:

A solution of the disinfectant is made and sprayed on the plants once in every 7-15 days helps in treating:

  • Downy mildew, by Hyaloperonospora parasitica show small lesions on upper leaf surfaces which merge into orange or yellow necrotic patches, with white cottony growth on the undersides
  • Rhizoctonia solani causes death of seedlings after germination; brown red-black rot encircles the stem making it constricted and twisted (wirestem)
  • Powdery mildew, by Erysiphe cruciferarum show white patches on leaf surfaces that merge to produce large purple patches, that form a dense powdery layer that coats the leaves, making them chlorotic, leading to defoliation
  • Xanthomonas campestris produce irregular grayish yellow leaf margins that expand till the midrib creating a characteristic ‘V shaped’ lesion, that may merge to give a burnt appearance

Soil fumigation:

A solution of this disinfectant is applie uniformly on the moistened soil beds. Helps in the treatment of the following:

  • Root knot nematode (Meloiodgyne sp.) causes root galls which may extend upto an inch in diameter, reducing plant life and yellowing of leaves which wilt in the summers
