ALSTASAN SILVOX (Silver Hydrogen Peroxide based Biodegradable Agriculture Disinfectant) addresses the following areas of concern without causing harmful/toxic effects.

 

Method of application:

Regular treatment by Spray method:

A solution of this disinfectant is sprayed on the plants once in every 7-15 days that helps in treating the following diseases: 

  • Anthracnose, by Colletotrichum higginisianum is identified by small straw coloured spots, that may merge to form large necrotic patches causing yellow wilted leaves; the lesions may crack from the center and turn gray or brown
  • Downy mildew, caused by Peronospora parasitica causes irregular yellow leaf patches that turn light brown
  • Black rot, caused by Xanthomonas campestris, produces seedlings with yellow wilted leaves, and V shaped lesions on matured leaf margins

Regular treatment by Drench method:

A fair dilution of this disinfectant is drenched to the soil every 15-30 days. Helps in treating the following diseases:

  • Rhizoctonia solani causes constricted and twisted (wirestem) stem, even if seedling may remain upright

Regular treatment by Drip method:

The disinfectant is added to irrigation water and fed to the soil bed through a drip line. It is advised to repeat this process once in every 15 days.
