ALSTASAN SILVOX (Silver Hydrogen Peroxide based Biodegradable Agriculture Disinfectant) addresses the following areas of concern without causing harmful/toxic effects.

 

Method of application:

Regular treatment by Drip method:

The disinfectant is added to irrigation water and fed to the soil bed through a drip line. It is advised to repeat this process once in every 15 days for hassle-free grapes cultivation. Helps in the treatment of the following diseases:

  • Grape mealybug (Pseudococcus maritimus) which allows the growth of sooty mold on fruits
  • Thrips (Frankliniella occidentalis, Thrips tabaci) which causes foliage distortion, with silvery leaves, spotted with black faeces
  • Anthracnose/Bird’s eye rot, by a fungus named Elsinoe ampelina, causes dark red lesions on the fruit, some even cause the leaf to curl
  • Botrytis bunch rot/ Grey mold by Botrytis cinerea, causes brown lesions on the stem, with a gray to tan powder, causing the stems and grapes to shrink
  • Black rot, by Guignardia bidwelli, causes brown lesions on the leaves which develop into black dots (pycnidia), hardening the grapes, even while on the vine
  • Dieback identified by stunted withered leaves, with dark blights on wood, is caused by Eutypa lata
  • Root knot nematodes (Meloidogyne sp.) leading to gall formation on the roots, and reducing plant life
  • Crown Gall caused by Agrobacterium vitis, identified by blistered vines and yellow wilted leaves. The fruits dry out and collapse

Regular treatment by Spray method:

A solution of this disinfectant is sprayed on the plants once in every 7-15 days helps in treating the following diseases in grape farming:

  • Downy mildew, caused by a fungus Plasmopora viticola
  • Powdery mildew caused by Erysiphe necator, characterized by patches: red on canes, yellow on leaf surfaces, and typical of its name, powdery growth on leaves and fruit
  • Pierce's Disease, by Xylella fastidiosa, produces yellow to red edges on leaves accompained by shrinking of the fruits
  • Phomposis viticola causes leaf spots known as Phomopsis cane, seen as yellow edged dark lesions on the canes and leaves that appear to be bleached 

Regular treatment by Drench method:

A fair dilution of this disinfectant is drenched to the soil every 15-30 days. Helps in treating the following tomato diseases:

  • Root knot nematodes (Meloidogyne sp.) leading to gall formation on the roots, and reducing plant life
  • Crown Gall caused by Agrobacterium vitis, identified by blistered vines and yellow wilted leaves. The fruits dry out and collapse 

Soil Fumigation:

A solution is made and applied uniformly on moistened soil beds during tomato cultivation. Helps in the treatment of:

  • Root knot nematodes (Meloidogyne sp.) leading to gall formation on the roots, and reducing plant life
  • Armillaria Root Rot by Armillaria mellea, is identified by weak shoots, and a white fungal mat under the bark, along with wilte leaves
