ALSTASAN SILVOX (Silver Hydrogen Peroxide based Biodegradable Agriculture Disinfectant) addresses the following areas of concern without causing harmful/toxic effects.

 

Method of application:

Regular treatment by Drench method:

A fair dilution of the disinfectant is made and the solution is drenched to each plant every 15-30 days. Helps in treating the following diseases:

  • Cercospora Leaf Spot caused by a fungus Cercospora coffeicola is identified by brown leaf spots with a yellow halo; infected red berries have a burnt appearance
  • Coffee Berry Disease by Colletotrichum kahawae causes dark lesions on the berries, resulting in premature dropping
  • Nematodes (Meloidogyne sp.)cause irregular gall formation in the roots, leading to chlorosis and defoliation

Regular treatment by Spray method:

A solution of the disinfectant is made and sprayed on the plants once in every 7-15 days helps in treating:

  • Bacterial Blight by Pseudomonas syringae causes watersoaked leaf spots that turn brown then black eventually and defoliate
  • Cercospora Leaf Spot caused by a fungus Cercospora coffeicola is identified by brown leaf spots with a yellow halo; infected red berries have a burnt appearance
  • Coffee Berry Disease by Colletotrichum kahawae causes dark lesions on the berries, resulting in premature dropping
  • Coffee Leaf Rust caused by Hemileia vastatrix is seen as small yellow-orange leaf spots on the upper surfaces, and orange to yellow lesions on the leaf undersides

Regular treatment by Drip method:

The disinfectant is added to irrigation water and fed to the soil bed through drip line. It is advised to repeat this process once in every 15 days.

Soil fumigation:

A solution of this disinfectant is applied uniformly on the moistened soil beds. Helps in the treatment of the following:
